The Organizing Committee is paying special attention to conducting the competition in accordance with international standards and creating a comfortable and safe environment for the participants

I am convinced that the XV Asian Championship will be remembered not only for strong Kurash contests, but also for promoting peace, friendship, respect, and human values. I call upon all national federations affiliated to the KCA to actively participate in this continental championship.

The official logo of the 15th Asian Senior Kurash Championship, which will be held in Dushanbe, the capital city of the Republic of Tajikistan, from 11 to 15 June 2026, has been officially approved.

This prestigious continental competition is being organised in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, the Kurash Confederation of Asia, and the Tajikistan Kurash Federation. The championship serves to determine the strongest athletes in Asia, award the IKA ranking points, and also holds significance as an important qualification and preparation stage ahead of major international competitions.

During this year, the Kurash Confederation of Asia successfully held several prestigious competitions and organizational events. In particular, the Asian Seniors, Juniors, and Cadets Championships, held in Goesan, South Korea, were organized at a high level and further strengthened the prestige of Kurash as a sport on our continent.

On behalf of the Asian Kurash Confederation, I would like to sincerely congratulate all kurash athletes, coaches, referees, national federations and sports fans.

The discussions focused on preparations for the upcoming Asian Kurash Championship for seniors, cadets and juniors, which will be held in Cheongju from July 30 to August 5 of this year. This prestigious continental competition is not only significant for the development of sports but also serves as a vivid example of cultural rapprochement.

Our activities during the year were highly appreciated and the Asian Kurash Confederation was recognized as the winner in the “Best Confederation of the Year” nomination.

Best Confederation Kurash Confedeation of Asia During 2024, about 20 International tournaments, championships and International seminars of different levels were organized at a high quality on the Asian continent.

The 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and this decision is a great achievement for the worldwide Kurash community.
