The official logo of the 15th Asian Senior Kurash Championship, which will be held in Dushanbe, the capital city of the Republic of Tajikistan, from 11 to 15 June 2026, has been officially approved.
The new visual identity of the competition is notable for embodying national values, modern sports branding, and the philosophy of Kurash. At the centre of the logo is a minimalist figure symbolising a Kurash movement, which also serves as the official emblem of the Tajikistan Kurash Federation.
The design reflects the dynamism of the sport, as well as the principles of competition and respect.
In addition, the composition incorporates the symbolic silhouette of the Monument of Ismail Somoni, representing the distinctive architecture and national spirit of the host city, Dushanbe.
The “XV” mark within the logo signifies the championship’s jubilee status, while the golden harmony highlights the prestige and high standard of the event, as well as its importance for the sporting community of the Asian continent.
This prestigious continental championship is being organised in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, Kurash Confederation of Asia, and the Tajikistan Kurash Federation. The competitions will take place at the Dushanbe Tennis Palace and Water Sport Complex.
Within the framework of the championship, not only medal contests will be organised, but also the IKA International Refereeing Seminar, 1–2 Star Refereeing Examinations, the Congress of the Kurash Confederation of Asia, and its Directing Committee meeting.
Registration of championship participants is currently ongoing. National federations affiliated with the Kurash Confederation of Asia are requested to register their participants through the “IKA Registration System”.
