IKA designates the Best in nine categories

 The International Kurash Association is delighted to announce the winners in the traditional nominations

“Best events and people of 2018”. This year the IKA identified best events, athletes and officials in nine different categories

evaluating their overall performance and contribution to Kurash promotion in their respective countries, continents and in the world.

The International Kurash Association would like to sincerely congratulate all the winners in these nominations and

BEST NATIONAL FEDERATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF KURASH
FIKU — ITALIAN KURASH FEDERATION
Italian Kurash Federation achieved the most with the limited budget, dispatching players to different events, participating at seminars, and organizing the First Coaching Course in Italy

 

BEST CONTINENTAL UNION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF KURASH
PKU — PAN AMERICA UNION
Pan American Kurash Union followed its calendar as promised holding different Competitions, refereeing courses, donating Free yakhtaks to its members and being very active promoting

Kurash in all social medias and internet

 

BREAKTHROUGH OF THE YEAR
INDIAN / KUWAIT KURASH FEDERATION
- First time ever in history Kuwait Kurash Federation obtained its first ever bronze medal at Asian Games 2018
- Kurash Association of India got one silver and one bronze for the first time ever in the history at Asian Games 2018, which was distinguished by Prime minister of India

 

BEST KURASH PROMOTER
UZBEKISTAN KURASH FEDERATION
Uzbekistan Kurash Federation headed by Chairman Mr. Otabek Murodov, General Prosecutor of Uzbekistan, successfully hosted three major International Tournaments for the Prize of Uzbekistan’s President in Tashkent,
