On June 10, the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation National Beach Kurash Championship will be held.
President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman warmly congratulated the Chinese Taipei Kurash family for organizing the Beach Kurash Championship on Heping Island.
The president of IKA praised the efforts being made to develop kurash in the country in his letter. Over the past 15 years, thanks to the help and support of the Chang family, kurash has become one of the most popular sports in Chinese Taipei. Today, it has become one of the most active federations in the world.
The Federation prepared a video instruction before this championship with detailed information about beach kurash and its rules and regulations.
This is the first video instruction created in Chinese language.
For your information: the International Kurash Association in the past has held international Beach Kurash competitions since 2014.
Kurash was included in the program of the Beach Asian Games held by the Olympic Council of Asia.
Kurash competitions were held at the Asian Beach Games in 2014 in Phuket, Thailand, and in 2016 in Danang, Vietnam. This championships gave a good chance for the youngsters to practice Kurash and become familiar with Kurash in Chinese Taipei.
