Another important event of KCAO is the regional Asian championships. In 2022, Nepal will host the South Asian Kurash Championship, while Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan will host the Central Asian Kurash Championship. International tournaments and training seminars are also held throughout the year in Shahrisabz, Khorezm, Issyk-Kul and Bojnurd.

Today, I consider it a great happiness to be healthy in the company of family and friends. May the Creator take care of us all.

The heated and uncompromising encounter took place at a very high level and in high spirits. About 600 athletes from all regions of the country, as well as the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the city of Tashkent competed for the cup.

During this period, Afghan Kurash athletes have been participating in all international tournaments, world and continental championships organized by IKA and KCAO.

With the full support of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honorary President of the International Kurash Association Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it has reached a new level. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 2, 2017, September 6 has been designated as Kurash Sports Day.

The first major phase of the IKA e Kurash project was recently completed. In total, 56 sets of technical actions for 7 Kurash techniques were filmed and posted on Youtube.

The meeting focused on the matters related to further dynamic promotion of Kurash in Uzbekistan and the world.

The members of the Directing Committee decided to create a new post of vice-president of the IKA to interact with the motherland of Kurash - Uzbekistan. IKA President Haider Farman proposed to appoint Abdujabbor Abduvokhidov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to this newly created position. Directing Committee members unanimously supported this proposal.
